Today most consumers pay for their purchases with a credit card or with an ATM Card and each time they do the processing companies take a fee from your store. Worse, if your volume goes down you may find the economies of scale discounts for volume trigger an increases percentage of your sales that are taken out and paid to that transaction companies. No fair say many small businesses, but that is the way many of these firms operate.
