As everyone is aware there is a world wide recession, and most of us are all feeling the crunch. We are all affected by this and in turn it also affects animals, especially pets. This can be witnessed by the number of animals that have been abandoned to pet sanctuaries or, even worse, left by the side of the road to fend for themselves. Conversely less people are prepared to rescue and re-house these animals as the cost is prohibitive.
